Ity ReCYN Project

Zeal provided study management and project management services for the Recyn Project. Acting as the client representative, Zeal managed the project from feasibility study through to execution, commissioning and into operations.

The Recyn technology is a resin-based technology that recycles cyanide for use in CIL, produces a saleable copper concentrate, and scavenges the CIL tail for gold and silver.

The Recyn plant also effectively replaces the conventional INCO SO2/Air cyanide destruction process which is costly to run and requires a significant volume of reagents.
